The Public Transit & Neighborhood Enhancement (PTNE) Division is responsible for providing convenient travel to residents and visitors through the administration of the Collier Area Transit (rideCAT) bus system; servicing the economically and physically disadvantaged community through the administration of the Paratransit System (CATConnect); and providing neighborhood enhancement through the administration of Municipal Services Taxing Units (MSTUs) and Benefit Units (MSBUs).
The MSTU/BU Section of the Division has completed several improvement projects within communities. Some of the neighborhood enhancements include landscaping beautification; roadway improvements and maintenance; storm water improvements; utility hardening; and sidewalk and lighting projects.
